Input Devices

Parts of a computer used to provide input to a computer are called Input
devices, such as keyboard and mouse.

Processing Devices

The devices that process the input are called Processing devices, such as the
CPU.

Output Devices

Parts of a computer that provide us with the output are called Output devices,
such as monitor, printer, and speakers.

STARTING A COMPUTER

A computer runs on electricity. All parts of a computer are

connected to the CPU.
Step 1: Switch on the main power with the help of your

teacher or parents.
Step 2: Switch on the UPS by pressing its power button.

Step 3: Switch on the CPU by pressing the power button on the CPU box.

Step 4: Switch on the monitor.
