           Listening & Speaking Time

          The teacher will divide the class into four groups and name each group after the club
          names found in a school; for example: Cricket Club, Music Club, Quiz Club and Science
          Club. Each club member has to think and discuss the club activities and together
          prepare a narrative of its highlights. The teacher will instruct that the narrative


          present the narrative. Simultaneously, a club member will note down the pronouns
          used in his speech. After the speech, the club member will read out the pronouns
          noted by him/her.
          For example:

          Speaker of the club: My name is Adil. I am a member of the Music Club. I play the
          guitar. We stage programmes on special days in the school. My singing partner is
          must include as many pronouns as possible. The speaker of the club will stand and  Pronouns
          Riya. She sings in her sweet voice. Ms Ruchee, our music teacher, guides us.
          A club member: Some of the pronouns used in this speech are: my,  I, we, she, her, our
          and us.
