Listening & Speaking Time
The teacher will call three students: A, B, C to the front of the class. The teacher will
bring in one or two old magazines or cartoon books, which have plenty of illustrations
with action pictures. He/she will go to the student A, turns any illustrated page and
ask the first student to describe it loudly. Then he/she will turn to the second student
B and ask him/her to describe what he/she had heard from A. Then the teacher
will turn towards C, the third student, and ask him/her to explain how he/she will
improve upon it if he/she was given a chance. The rule of the activity is that all the
conversations should be done in continuous tense.
