Let’s Learn Describing Words
If we want to say something more about a naming word (noun), we add a
word to describe it.
a hot day a big house a short man
a sad boy a new T-shirt a tiny mouse
The words hot, big, short, sad, new and tiny tell us more about the nouns.
These are called describing words.
The shapes of nouns are describing words.

a round button an oval ball a square hanky
The numbers of nouns are describing words.
one car three pens many animals
