Listening & Speaking Time
The teacher will divide the class into two groups: A and B. The teacher will
speak out a few nouns to one group at a time. The group will listen to the
teacher, and a student will answer. The child has to speak out whether the
noun is a place, a person, an animal or a thing. He/she will speak out the
answer in a sentence. For example
“It is a thing/an animal/a place.”
If the noun is a person, the child will say, “He or she is a person.”
The teacher will make a score chart on the blackboard/whiteboard. He/she
will write ‘+1’ for a right answer or ‘–1’ for a wrong answer.
