Water Plants
Some plants have adapted to live in water. These plants are known as water plants or
aquatic plants.

1 This is a free-floating plant native to South America. The
leaves of this plant are bulbous from the base and grows
up to 12 inches in length. It has a pink and purple coloured
flower.

are light green in colour and grow up to 15 cm.

white or yellow petals with heart-shaped leaves spreading
up to 15 cm.

leaves. This plant can help oxygenate water and reduce algae.
