                               Industrial Pollution

All industrial processes cause pollution to land, air, and water. This pollution can
pose a health risk to people as well as damage the environment.

           Activities causing industrial pollution includes–

         • Burning coal and fossil fuels, like natural gas and petroleum.

         • Chemical solvents used in dyeing and farming industries.

         • Untreated gas and liquid waste being released into the environment.

          Solutions to control industrial waste–

        • Recycling – Recycling materials and wastes to reduce waste pollution.

        • Strict regulations – Government and agencies should implement strict
regulations to control industrial waste dumping.

        • Machine upgradation – Upgrading machines industry-wide to the latest
technologies which would initiate less pollution.
