Addition with Regrouping/Carrying

We have learned the concept of tens and ones. Let us learn how to regroup and add.

Let us add 16 and 18.

Let us learn how to carry over and add.

T O Step 1: Add ones.
Step 2 1 (6 + 8 = 14 ones = 1 ten + 4 ones)

So, 16 + 18 = 34
