        Operations on Integers
        As we add, subtract, multiply or divide the whole numbers, the same can be done with integers. Let us see how
        we add two or more integers.

        Addition of Integers

        Rules for Addition of Integers
        Rule 1:    If two positive or negative integers are added, we add their magnitudes (absolute value) and give
                   common sign to their sum.

                   e.g.,  37 + 23 = 60 or (–37) + (–23) = – 60
        Rule 2:    To add a positive and a negative integer, first we find the difference between the two and give the sign
                   of the integer which has greater numerical value.
                   e.g.,  –46 + 20 = (–26) as integer with negative sign has greater numerical value.

                   or    46 + (–20) = 46 + (–20) = 26 as integer with positive sign has greater numerical value.

               ›    When a positive integer is added to an integer, the resulting integer is greater than the given integer.
               ›    When a negative integer is added to an integer, the resulting integer is smaller than the given integer.
               ›    Numbers such as –7 and +7, +9 and –9 when added to each other give the sum zero. They are called additive inverse of
                  each other.


        Addition of Integers on Number Line
            ● While adding positive integer to positive integer move towards right on the number line. For example,
            3 + 5 = 8
