The Fibonacci pattern is defined as the sequence of numbers in which each term in the sequence is obtained by
adding the two terms before it, starting with the number 0 and 1. The Fibonacci pattern is given as
            0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13 ... and so on.
Based upon the above phenominon, Answer the following questions:

           1. Which is the Fibonacci sequence?

                (a) 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, ... (b) 0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, ... (c) 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, ... (d) 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, ...

           2. In the Fibonacci sequence, each number is the sum of the two preceding ones. What is the next number
               after 5?

                (a) 8 (b) 9 (c) 10 (d) 7
           3. How many Fibonacci numbers are prime number within the first 20 numbers in the sequence?
                (a) 2 (b) 3 (c) 4 (d) 5

           4. What is the 12th number in the fibonacci sequence?
                (a) 89 (b) 144 (c) 233 (d) 377

Directions for Questions 1 to 2: In each of the questions given below, there are two statements marked as
Assertion (A) and Reason (R). Mark your answer as per the codes provided below:

          (a) Both A and R are true and R is the correct explanation of A.
          (b) Both A and R are true but R is not the correct explanation of A.
          (c) A is true but R is false. (d) A is false but R is true.

        Q. 1. Assertion (A): 2, 4, 6, 8 ... are all even natural numbers.
Reason (R): All even numbers are divisible by 2.

        Q. 2. Assertion (A): The sum of first 10 terms of odd number series is 100.
                                                                       2
Reason (R): The sum of first n odd natural number is n .
