The symbol for rupee is ‘`’ and paise is ‘p’. coins such as 5 p, 10 p, 20 p, 25p.

` 5 note ` 10 note ` 20 note
` 50 note ` 100 note ` 500 note
Exchanging Money
= + Two 50 p coins together make ` 1. So we
can exchange a ` 1 coin for two 50 p coins.
One ` 2 coin can be exchanged for two
