        DRAWING ANGLES BY USING PROTRACTOR
Sakshi wants to use a protractor to draw 40° angle and lable it ∠AOB.
Step 1 : We begin with the base and draw OB :

                                               O B
Step 2 : We will place the centre point of the protractor on O and align OB to the 0 line.

                                                          O B

Step 3 : Now, starting from 0, count your degrees (0, 10, 30, 40) up to 40 on the protractor. Mark point A at
                  the lable 40°.

                                                                            A

                                                          O B

        Step 4 : Using a ruler joins the point O and A.
∠ AOB = 40° is the required angle.

                                                                         A

                                                               40°
                                                        O B

        ANGLE BISECTOR

The process of getting half of the given angle is known as bisecting the angle. The line that bisects the given
angle is known as the angle bisector of that angle.
Basically, angle bisector is a line that bisect the given angle A
        For example, here, ∠ ABC = 60°

                              ∠ ABD = ∠ DBC = 30° D
                                                                                                  30°
                              ∠ DBC = ∠ ABD = 1 ∠ ABC
                                                  2 60° 30°
Than line ∠ BD is he angle bisector of ∠ ABC.
                                                                                          B C
