              Alternating  between  near  and  far  focus  helps
              train  your  focusing  system  to  engage  and  relax
              appropriately. This exercise can be performed
              standing or sitting.
              1.  Hold your thumb 10 inches away from your face
                 and focus on it for 15 seconds.

              2.  After  15  seconds,  shift  your  gaze  to  an  object
                 approximately 20 feet (6 meters) away and hold your focus for 15 seconds.
              3. Alternate between the thumb and the object, and repeat the steps at least 5 times.

                   to promote the use of open-source software in the commercial world. The
                   world’s first open source software was A-2 system which was developed
                   for the UNIVAC compiler in 1953. Users were given access to the source

                   code for the A-2 system and invited to share improvements and feedback.
