Cloud Based Conversational AI

LUIS is a cloud based conversational AI that works on the basis of NLP to build natural language
into apps, bots, and IoT devices. In simple words, this application is able to understand the commands
given by the user and make an appropriate action as per the user instructions.
To use the application, you should go to the web browser and type the following URL in the address
bar:https://aidemos.microsoft.com/luis/demo. Press Enter key.

In this application, you can give instructions in one of the three forms i.e., voice data, text data or
select any command from the preset suggestions. You should wait for a minute after giving instruction
in any form. The AI system will try to interpret your instruction and make relevant action as per the
instruction.
Here, we select an instruction from the preset suggestion: It’s time to go to sleep. You can see that
AI interprets the given instruction and makes an appropriate action, i.e., turns off the light in the
bedroom.

Now again, we instruct the system “I need more light to cut carrots”. As defined above, AI interprets
the instruction and increases the light in the Kitchen area.
