C. Comments on Pedigree (Fig. 11.3) (Mother has the trait, father does not have the trait)
1. It is pedigree of rolling of tongue in human.
2. The female parent (mother) has the ability of the tongue rolling.
3. The male parent (father) does not have the ability of rolling of the tongue.
4. None of the off spring/children of such parents have the ability of rolling of the tongue.
Check yourself whether you are a tongue-roller or not. You can make your family pedigree on tongue
rolling trait. Tongue-rollers can roll their tongue in ‘U’ tube like while the tongue-non-rollers cannot.
