Focus on EVS, a series for class 1 and 2 is education of, for and through the environment. It develops a holistic understanding of the relationship between self, society and the environment. The main aim of the series is to make the children aware of their environment and its problems through an interactive approach and colourful illustrations. The series is strictly based on the latest syllabus prescribed by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE). The various features in each chapter contains a set of tasks that will help to develop skills, such as thinking skills, creative skills, observation and communicative skills.
