10. What are the components of LibreOffice?

Ans: The components of LibreOffice are Writer for word processing, Calc for spreadsheet preparation, Impress
for presentation and Base for database management.
               11. What is the keyboard shortcut to create a new document in Writer?

Ans. The keyboard shortcut to create a new document in Writer is Ctrl+N.
               12. What is the Formatting toolbar?

Ans. Formatting toolbar contains various tools/options for formatting a document. A graphical representation
of commands is shown in the form of icons.
               13. How will you select a complete sentence at a time?

Ans. Position the mouse pointer anywhere in the sentence and triple click.
               14. How will you divide the page in multiple columns?
Ans. To divide the page into columns, select Format Column. A Column dialog box appears. Enter the
number of columns in the Column entry box. Specify the value for spacing between the columns and
                   click OK.

               15. What is Mail Merge?
Ans. Mail Merge is a very important feature of word processors. It is used to create a series of same documents
                   with multiple addresses.

               16. What is a spreadsheet?
Ans. A single worksheet in Calc is also referred to as spreadsheet. A spreadsheet is made up of a grid of rows
and columns that intersect to form cells.

               17. Why entering formulas with cell addresses and operators is considered good in a worksheet?
Ans. Entering formulas with cell addresses and operators works just like a variable. When the values of the
cells referenced in a formula changes, the results obtained by the formula also get updated automatically.

               18. What happens if you forgot to put equal to (=) sign before the formula?
Ans. If we forgot to put the ‘=’ before the formula, it will be treated as a label. If you write the formula
B1=A2+A3 in cell B2, then it will be taken as a label and calculations will not be performed.
               19. What is the use of the Calc Fill Handle tool?

Ans. The Calc Fill Handle tool is used to fill a range of cells with values that follow a pattern based on the
initial values in the selected cells.
               20. Explain absolute referencing in short.

Ans. In Absolute referencing, a $ symbol is used before the column name as well as row number to make it
                   constant in any formula.
               21. If we move a cell containing a formula having reference to another cell in the worksheet what will
happen to the cell numbers used in the formula?

Ans. When we move a cell that contains a formula referencing another cell in the same worksheet, Excel
adjusts the cell references in the formula automatically. This is due to the concept of relative references.
